




The Privacy Institute aims to create awareness about the sensitive side of data.
Poster 1: 'your data is open to view, too'. The public transport smart card records all your travel data. Since the card can be hacked, you lose control over your data.
Poster 2: 'Once given always given'. If you use Google, you give them information. This personal data is unerasable and it's unclear what happens with the data
Poster 3: 'They know all about you' Your phone provider stores data such as location, calls and text messages. Authorities can use this (manipulatable) data as evidence against you.
Poster 4: 'You're becoming famous' The Dutch government has registered all citizens for the Electronic Patient Dossier, but it's unclear who will be able to see or modify this sensitive data.
